Dr. J. Andres Hernandez is a board-eligible Junior Associate Plastic Surgeon at The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery (ACPS) in Houston, Texas. He specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body with particular interests in rhinoplasty, breast surgery, and body contouring. He is committed to helping each patient achieve natural, refined results that honor their unique anatomy and identity.

Education & Training
Dr. Hernandez completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Duke University Hospital, one of the nation’s most respected training programs, where he developed a comprehensive foundation in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery across the face, breast, and body.
He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, simultaneously completing a Master of Business Administration at The Wharton School with a concentration in healthcare management. Before medical school, he graduated summa cum laude as Valedictorian from the University of Central Florida Honors College.
Research & Academic Contributions
Throughout his training, Dr. Hernandez developed a focused academic interest in aesthetic surgery and surgical outcomes research. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, including a chapter on primary rhinoplasty in Expert Techniques in Aesthetic Surgery& and a contribution to the 5th edition of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Hernandez has also served in leadership roles and presented at national meetings, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Personal Interests
Outside of the operating room, Dr. Hernandez enjoys cooking, staying active, and spending time with his wife and son. He is also a devoted baseball fan.
