Breast Lift Before & After Case 1553

This 38-year-old woman had undergone bilateral breast augmentation by another surgeon many years earlier. She was dissatisfied with the results, as the implants sat too high on the chest while the nipple–areolar complexes were positioned at the base of the breasts and pointing downward. She also showed signs of tuberous breast deformity with constricted lower poles, as well as capsular contracture in both breasts.

To address these concerns, Dr. Fortes removed the 380cc textured silicone gel implants and replaced them with Allergan 365cc smooth silicone gel implants placed in submuscular pockets. He also performed partial capsulectomies and vertical mastopexies to improve breast shape and position.

The patient is shown before surgery and again five months postoperatively, with a more natural breast contour, improved symmetry, and an overall enhanced appearance.
