Dr. David Magno-Padron has undergone extensive and rigorous training in both general surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery, and is one of the newest aesthetic surgery fellows at ACPS in Houston, Texas. His expertise spans the full spectrum of aesthetic procedures, including breast and body surgery, body contouring and facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Magno-Padron is known for his natural interpersonal warmth and unique ability to build authentic relationships with his patients. He brings a distinctive blend of refined surgical skill, artistic vision, and emotional intelligence to every encounter—helping patients feel at ease and confident through powerful outcomes.

ABOUT ACPS FELLOWSHIP AND PROCEDURE PRICINGBackground
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to a Cuban mother and Puerto Rican father, Dr. Magno-Padron moved to the United States at a young age. Spanish was his first language, and he remains proud of his Latin heritage and bilingual fluency—qualities that continue to enhance his ability to connect meaningfully with patients from diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Magno-Padron earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Michigan before attending the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He then went on to complete a rigorous five-year general surgery residency at Tulane University program in New Orleans, where he gained a deep understanding of the full scope of surgical care across all general surgery subspecialties. During his time there, he was honored as Surgical Resident of the Year and also received the Matas Clinical Research Award—recognitions that reflect both his technical skill and the high regard in which he was held by patients and peers alike.
After his third year of residency, Dr. Magno-Padron pursued a dedicated year of research in plastic and reconstructive surgery, during which he published 13 peer-reviewed articles across the field and authored a book chapter on nerve regeneration.
He then completed a three-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he received advanced training in reconstructive surgery of the breast, extremities, head & neck, as well as hand surgery and microsurgery, along with a strong foundation in aesthetic procedures across both hospital-based and private practice settings. As an aesthetic surgery fellow at ACPS, Dr. Magno-Padron is focused on further refining his technical skill in aesthetic plastic surgery to further improve the outcomes for his patients. Upon completion of this fellowship, he will have completed a full decade of surgical training since graduating from medical school—a testament to his unwavering dedication to excellence in patient care, surgical specialization, and personal connection.

Dr. Magno-Padron has an innate ability to connect with his patients—a trait that has been consistently recognized throughout his training by patients, peers, and staff alike. His warm, engaging personality helps patients feel seen and understood, while his keen aesthetic eye allows him to deliver natural, beautiful results that are driven by his patient’s desires. With a lifelong interest in aesthetics and physical fitness, Dr. Magno-Padron brings a personal understanding of health and beauty to his practice. He has maintained a strong commitment to his own personal health and fitness since high school and attributes much of his artistic eye to these experiences.
Family
Dr. Magno-Padron is married to his beautiful wife Maria, who was born and raised in Mexico. Together, they are excitedly preparing to soon welcome their first child. Deeply proud of his heritage and multicultural background, he values community, family, and meaningful relationships—values that continue to shape his approach to plastic surgery and to life.
