The center offers positions to participate in on-going research studies to qualified medical students and postdoctoral fellows. Our two operating rooms, video library, and educational conference room with computer stations offer the latest technology to enhance the learning process and conduct quality aesthetic surgery research under the direct supervision of experts in plastic surgery.

Amado Ruiz-Razura,M.D.,FACS,FICS is the medical director of the ACPS educational and research center. He is responsible for continuing medical education, training and clinical research studies been conducted in this fully accredited facility (AAAASF). He holds a faculty appointment as professor of surgery in the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
Dr Ruiz-Razura is a member of the Plastic Surgery Research Council, the Houston Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
The ACPS research center works in conjunction with multiple plastic surgery companies evaluating products,instruments and devices by conducting clinical research studies designed to improve patient care. Our educational and research center plays an important role for ACPS to maintain in the forefront of aesthetic plastic surgery.
