ArmsThe correction of the sagging, bat wing arm is technically referred to as Brachioplasty. In the past, large incisions were required to remove excess skin and fat. But today... advances in liposuction have allowed us to provide excellent contouring for most patients... without the traditional long scars. Small incisions are made in the armpit and the elbow. The cannula suctions the fat from the selected areas, allowing the surgeon to sculpt the desired contour. As a result of this technique, skin quality is unchanged. Some swelling and bruising may occur, but will diminish in about 3 to 5 weeks.
