The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery was founded in 1996 by Dr. Christopher K. Patronella, Dr. Henry A. Mentz, III, and Dr. German Newall.
With seven plastic surgeons, ACPS is ranked as the largest private plastic surgery practice in Texas.
The surgeons at the ACPS perform more than 140 cases per month.
At the ACPS Surgicentre, patient safety is our primary concern. This institution is certified by the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. (AAAASF). This nationally recognized organization is the Gold Standard in accreditation, insuring that surgical facilities meet rigid guidelines with regard to physician credentials and life safety issues.
The AAAASF has given ACPS the highest certification possible. On a certification scale from A to C, with C being the highest accreditation available, ACPS has been awarded a Class C accreditation to ACPS.
The Surgicenter offers two surgical suites, pre-operative consultation suites, and a comfortable post-operative recovery suite. This facility provides:
- State-of-the-art patient monitoring equipment during anesthesia;
- Emergency life support and resuscitation equipment;
- Physician anesthesiologists trained in the specialty of anesthesia;
- A highly trained and experienced staff, handpicked by the surgeons of ACPS to work with them on a daily basis;
- Highly scrutinized AAAASF sterilization techniques; and
- Equipment certification on a regular basis per strict AAAASF requirements to ensure safe utilization.
The Surgeons at ACPS established the Center for Clinical Research and Plastic Surgery Education as an illustration of their dedications to improving plastic surgery in the national and international communities.
The ACPS Center for Clinical Research and Plastic Surgery Education, under the direction of Dr. Amado Ruiz-Razura, coordinates a teaching and mentoring program for plastic surgeons from around the world.
The ACPS Center for Clinical Research and Plastic Surgery Education works in conjunction with multiple plastic surgery companies evaluating products,instruments and devices by conducting clinical research studies designed to improve patient care.
In addition to plastic surgery, ACPS offers beauty and spa services, such as microdermabrasion, Restylane®, Botox®, chemical peels, permanent laser hair reduction, therapeutic massage, vein treatments, permanent make-up and facials, as well as physician recommended products to use at home. These products and services prepare patients for surgery, maintain their new look after surgery, or just keep them looking and feeling their best.
The offices of The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery are located in the Galleria area of Houston at 4400 South Post Oak, Suite 2260 and in the Memorial/Town and Country area of Southwest Houston at 12727 Kimberley, Suite 300.
